WW2

WW2

The Multiplayer: This game was one of the most hyped up games of 2017 within the gaming community. This game finally went back to its roots, and what I mean of that is that it went back to boots-on-ground, something COD fans have wanted after the first “jetpack game”, Advanced Warfare, was made. This game was developed by SledgeHammer Games, which were also the developers of Advanced Warfare. After the dissapointment of AW, SledgeHammer decided to give the fans what they wanted and that was a boots-on-ground game. WW2’s multiplayer lived up to the hype that it had. Obviously, as the game title says, this game is based in WW2 which you can’t really tell by the maps but you can tell by the wide range of guns that you can use through your multiplayer experience. Guns such as the M1 Garand and the MP-40 are guns in the game that were actually used during the WW2 period. At launch, this game had the usual things that a COD game would have, it had the usual game types like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy, Hardpoint, but it also added new gamemodes like Gridrion which is like a different version of a previous gamemode named Uplink where you essentially have to escort a ball to a certain area. One of the reasons of why WW2 was hyped up was the addition of Headquarters which enabled you to interact with other players in a pregame lobby. In the Headquarter, there is a firing range, a 1v1 area, a Scorestreak Training area, a Theater, and many more things. This games multiplayer plays extremely smoothly, it has great graphics, everything about the game is just great in general. Overall, this game’s multiplayer revived the franchise, it brought back a lot of ex-COD fans back, and it also made new fans with just this game.
